Looking for more unity in your group? Paul talks with the early church about “coming to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God’s Son that we will be mature and full grown in the Lord, measuring up to the full stature of Christ.” Adventure Camp is our way to help you bring unity to your ministry team or group of students grades 5 and up.
Adventure Camp was designed to develop the knowledge and skills of participants on leadership and evangelism and how they can apply them to their faith walk. The camp is composed of a series of activities that will develop the campers’ critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and communication skills, among other topics. It also helps participants understand the importance of planning, persistence and determination in life and in their faith.
The goal of this camp is to empower participants in such a way that they will want to become leaders and use these skills to build God’s kingdom.
Highlights: One of the best features of this type of camp is the hands-on and individualized training that participants will get. Aside from the high and low ropes course, team-building sessions and fireside chats, they also get to work on group projects that will allow them to practice what they have learned from the camp.
If this sounds like an adventure that you want to explore, take some time and read through the iRock Adventures Handbook. It will give you all the details you need to decide if this camp is for your group. If you’re ready to take the plunge, the first thing to do is contact me to set a date that works for you
